Teachers
Our teachers are the most important foundation of our facilities. They are dedicated, experienced professionals who understand the importance of early childhood education and who bring professionalism, enthusiasm and joy to everything they do.
They work hand in hand to create stimulating and age-appropriate activities for each child we care for and nurture. Our teachers create an environment where children feel safe and can explore, learn and grow at their own pace.
What makes our teachers so special? Apart from the fact that they have completed a comprehensive and accredited training, our teachers are committed to continuous professional development and regularly share the latest pedagogical approaches with their colleagues. This ensures that our educational offer is always up to date and tailored to the needs of our children and families. It is a particular concern of ours to support our teachers in ensuring that they have sufficient time for the children’s needs. Numerous external educational partners who regularly work with us support us in this. In addition, we have abolished the elaborate paperwork and work with a digital app in our Urban Kids Academy! We love it because it gives us even more time for what matters most. – The children and their development.
Group leaders
Our group leaders each lead a team of teachers and focus on the individual development and care of each child in their education, care and supervision. They are responsible for planning and implementing our educational concept. This includes planning, documentation and evaluation in accordance with the Baden-Württemberg Education Plan and the Urban Kids Curriculum. They work together with our teachers and the families to ensure that each child receives the best possible time and experience in our care.
Educational Lead
The role of the Educational Lead is now to bring the curriculum and Urban Kids Academy programme to life and work with our teachers to maximise the development, learning and enjoyment of each child. As part of the management team, it is the role of the Educational Director to support the teachers in ensuring that all children are nurtured within the Urban Kids Academy curriculum. They are the good soul in our house, holding everything together.
The basis of our work is a child-centered pedagogy.
