We want to be your partner in the process of your child’s education and upbringing. We see ourselves as an extension of your home, and we want you to feel like a part of Urban Kids Academy too. We encourage you to attend our Coffee Mornings and Tea-and-Cake events.

Events to participate
In addition, we have developed various events to give you the opportunity to participate in your child’s development at the Urban Kids Academy. We love to celebrate all the festivals of the year with our children.
Carnival
With red noses and colourful costumes we celebrate carnival in our facilities.
Easter
Then we go on an Easter egg hunt in our gardens.
Forest Week and Sports Week
When spring comes, we discover the forest in our forest week and get fit for summer in our sports week.
Summer Parties
Our summer parties at the Urban Kids Academy are always a very special event for young and old…they remain unforgettable! This is how we say goodbye to our nursery children into kindergarten and our kindergarten children into school.
Halloween Party
When the temperatures get cooler, our children’s biggest highlight follows, the “Halloween Party”. Here we decorate the whole house, do costume shows and our kitchen fairy conjures up a spooky children’s meal!
Lantern Run
This is followed shortly after by our lantern run. For this we make the most beautiful lanterns with you, dear parents, one afternoon before.
Father Christmas
Ho, Ho, Ho on 6 December Father Christmas comes to the Urban Kids Academy.
Christmas Bakery
We end the year with a present to you dear parents, we take care of our Urban Kids on a Saturday before Christmas to our “Christmas Bakery”…bake all day delicious biscuits and play lots of games, so that you can take care of all your Christmas errands before Christmas, for one day.

In order to put even more emphasis on the valuable pedagogical work in our Urban Kids Academies, we have decided to use a digital app that supports us in all tasks related to our day-to-day day care. This also brings us closer to our goal of making our day care centre more sustainable.
Our kindergarten app represents a digital ecosystem in which the educational partnership between management, educators and parents is strengthened.
Manage contacts, check your children in & out, view our weekly schedule, have appointments & events at a glance, view menus, educational documentation and observations, view daily reports, send messages to our carers, receive push notifications so you don’t miss any information and so much more…!
